The HCAA-SY103-E2 is a 1U triple node appliance which offers flexible and scalable performance by supporting 3 Intel® Xeon® E-2xxx CPU’s and up to 64 GB DDR4 DRAM on 3 independent nodes with dedicated LAN interfaces and mesh network. Each node can support up to 4 SSD’s or two 3.5” HDD’s configured in various way optimized specifically for every kind of application. Hawc offers by default Enterprise grade SSD’s to improve speed and reliability.
An additional PCIe slot allows to add functionality to the system like graphic card, interface and network cards, high bandwidth SSD cards for SSD-caching or IO controller cards or in case of a High Available configuration to add fiber optic network cards for an internal mesh network. Together with or Stellar HA platform the HCAA-SY103-E2 is a perfect entry level HA platform for small to medium installations where HA is required with the possibility to grow and expand in various ways like adding flash arrays, storage arrays of simple increase the performance by adding more nodes.
